Automation Engineer - Networking Role Overview

We’re looking for a visionary Automation Engineer - Networking to join our Automation teams. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of Automated tests using our Java-based framework. Our Automated tests cover various aspects of the product, including complex networking topology, traffic, security rules, and user authentication scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and implement automated regression and sanity tests for our ever-evolving product.
• Take part in ensuring our product quality and robustness.
• Identify and design the tools needed for efficient automated testing.
• Define, set up, and maintain our test automation environments and processes.
• Develop an Automation infrastructure layer and libraries.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience implementing automated tests for multi-layered products - must.
• Deep knowledge in network engineering or related roles.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with Networking protocols, mainly with layers 3-7.
• Experience implementing automated tests for multi-layered products - an advantage.
• Experience with using Wireshark – advantage.
• Hands-on experience with Linux – must.
• OOD/OOP design and coding experience - must.
• Experience with virtual environments like ESX, AWS, Azure.
• Ability to work in a dynamic multi-task environment.
• A team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
