The Role

As the Senior Manager Data - Governance, Quality and Master Data Management at Cat Financial, you will lead a team of Data Specialists. Your responsibilities will encompass data governance, master data management, data stewardship, data quality, and data design and modeling. You will be responsible for the Customer 360 customer data mastering process in collaboration with Cat Digital business partners and maintaining the health of master data matching. This role requires regular interaction with peer and senior level leaders across Cat Financial business, IT, and other Caterpillar divisions. You will be a key leader engaged in the data strategy for Cat Financial and large-scale data initiatives across Caterpillar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Data Specialists focused on data governance, master data management, data stewardship, data quality, data design, and modeling.
  • Oversee the Customer 360 customer data mastering process with Cat Digital business partners.
  • Ensure the health and accuracy of master data matching.
  • Interface regularly with peer and senior level leaders in business, IT, and other Caterpillar divisions.
  • Contribute significantly to the data strategy for Cat Financial and large-scale data initiatives across Caterpillar.

Database Structures (Working Knowledge)

Decides business logic in database management systems and connections among different database structures.

Information Management (Extensive Experience)

Knowledge of an organization's existing and planned Information Architecture and Information Management (IM) methodology; ability to collect and manage information from different sources, and distribute this information to enhance operational efficiency. Directs the implementation of information processing and operation standards to protect and manage information assets. Develops capabilities, features and uses for major IM platforms. Coaches others on issues and considerations for managing structured vs. unstructured data. Advises on improvement plans for existing and forecasted information architecture. Consults on all major information management platforms and practices. Consults on information architecture concepts, disciplines and practices.

Compensation & Benefits Summary

Pay Range: $151,440.00 - $242,304.00
