Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager Information Technology to join Application Services – CAT IT Division. This role is the IT Owner of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for Solar’s Information Technology Solutions department, responsible for key ERP, MES, Trade Automation (TA), and Compliance systems used for order-to-ship and record-to-report functions at Solar Turbines. The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore – Caterpillar PSN.
What You Will Do
- Hire, grow, and manage a high-performing team.
- Analyze business needs and coach teams to deliver to specifications.
- Monitor and maintain adherence and compliance to quality standards on an ongoing basis.
What You Will Have
- Proven experience (10+ years) in ERP – Infor LN or equivalent as an architect, analyst, program manager, or leader.
- Preferable system experience in MES – Plex, Indirect Purchasing – Coupa, etc.
- Successfully executed large deployments as a leader or project/program manager.
- Strong leadership background managing diverse technical teams.
- Excellent communication, customer engagement, and stakeholder management skills.
- Budget management experience.
- Ability to drive projects from planning through to execution in a global or multi-site environment.
- Thought leader willing to challenge current paradigms with people/process/technology options.
- This position requires candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
- Shift Timing: 01:00 PM - 10:00 PM IST.

IT Service Management (ITSM): Knowledge of IT service; ability to manage IT services and oversee service operations.
