About The Role
The Contracts Manager – Power & Energy is a senior leader accountable for end-to-end ownership of commercially complex, high-value contracts. Drives contract strategy, leads negotiations, ensures compliance, and delivers executable commercial agreements aligned to business objectives and enterprise risk frameworks.

- Houston, Texas is the preferred location for this role. Relocation eligibility will be evaluated based on candidate qualifications
- This role will require 5 days onsite

- Lead development of complex, non-standard agreements aligned to strategy
- Lead and shape high-stakes negotiations end-to-end
- Strategic advisor influencing deal structure and outcomes
- Owns enterprise-level risk strategy and contract mitigation decisions

- Contracts Review: Knowledge of contractual and legal matters related to expenditures (consulting services, maintenance, agreements, acquisitions, outsourcing, etc.); ability to evaluate, interpret and improve the language used in contractual agreements.
- Legal Analysis: Knowledge of methods and tools used in legal analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from both legal and factual information.
- Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
