Overview

Cash App, a product of Block, is on a mission to redefine the world’s relationship with money. As part of the Financial Crimes organization, the KYC/KYB Policy and Strategy Manager will develop and maintain a compliant Know Your Customer (KYC) program that meets regulatory requirements and supports business objectives. This role is essential to protecting the ecosystem by managing policies, advising on regulatory changes, and driving KYC program enhancements.

Responsibilities

Policy Development and Management: Lead development, review, and maintenance of KYC policies and standards; monitor regulatory changes; develop supplementary guidance documents; and process exception requests.

Program Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement KYC requirements; advise compliance technology teams; monitor program metrics; and support training content development.

Stakeholder Management: Work with legal, audit, and risk management teams; provide subject matter expertise; participate in governance forums; and support regulatory examinations and audits.

Risk Management: Identify compliance issues; monitor emerging risks; analyze metrics and program performance; and track and report on key indicators.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has over 10 years in BSA/AML/KYC compliance roles, preferably in payments or fintech. You must possess a track record of guiding enterprise-wide compliance programs and provide executive guidance on regulatory matters. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and proven ability to execute independently are required. Relevant industry certifications and experience interacting with banking regulators are preferred.
