Job Description

About Caseware

Caseware is one of Canada's original Fintech companies, having led the global audit and accounting software industry for over 30 years, with more than 500,000 users across 130 countries and available in 16 different languages. While you might not have heard of us (yet) over 36,000 accounting and audit professionals list Caseware as a skill on their LinkedIn profiles!

As Methodology & Content Manager at Caseware, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our audit and assurance products reflect professional standards, best practice, and the needs of global audit markets. You will help shape and drive the evolution of our assurance software suite, collaborating across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to deliver solutions that make audit smarter, more efficient, and more future-ready.

What you will be doing

  • Act as an in-house subject matter expert on audit and assurance standards, regulatory requirements, and audit methodology.
  • Work closely with product managers and engineering to translate audit requirements into detailed product features, functional specifications, and user workflows.
  • Monitor regulatory and industry developments, particularly in the US (PCAOB, GAAS, SEC-related audit environment) and advise on product implications.
  • Support user research, product validation, and customer feedback loops to ensure real-world alignment.
  • Contribute to technology-driven initiatives including process automation and incorporation of emerging capabilities (e.g., data analytics or AI features) to enhance audit efficiency.
  • Provide training and technical insight to internal and external stakeholders (sales, support, customers) to articulate the value and proper use of Caseware’s audit tools.

What you will bring

  • A recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA).
  • Strong audit and assurance experience, ideally in public practice or an audit-regulated environment.
  • Good understanding of audit methodology, documentation standards, and regulatory expectations.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, including the ability to safely leverage AI outputs.
  • Strong research skills, able to synthesize and interpret a wide range of information sources to deliver focused research.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex audit concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize across competing demands.
  • Previous exposure to the US audit market (PCAOB, GAAS, SEC-related engagements).
  • Experience working on technology transformation, audit software, digital audit tools, or workflow automation projects.
  • Familiarity with data analytics or AI as applied to audit, or a strong interest in how AI can improve audit and assurance workflows.

What's in it for you

  • Innovation is at our core. We work with cutting-edge technology in accounting and financial reporting, constantly pushing the boundaries to create impactful software solutions.
  • We are committed to a collaborative culture, where your ideas are valued, and knowledge sharing is encouraged within a supportive, inclusive team.
  • Work-life balance is important to us. We offer flexible work options, remote opportunities, and generous time-off policies to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
  • We offer competitive compensation, including a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans.
  • We are driven by impactful work. Your contributions directly affect how our clients manage financial processes and drive their success.
  • Recognition and rewards matter to us. We celebrate hard work through recognition programs, performance bonuses, and opportunities for career growth.
  • We embrace global opportunities. Work on international projects and collaborate with a diverse, global team.
