Bartender at Carolina Yacht Club

The Bartender will serve our membership with the utmost hospitality, exceed expectations, and create memorable experiences. This role ensures a high level of customer service through anticipating member needs and delivering excellent beverage service in a club environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet members by name
  • Know all menus (dinner, lunch, cocktail, dessert, wine)
  • Possess extensive beverage knowledge of liquor, wine, and beer
  • Operate the Jonas POS system accurately
  • Maintain polished glassware and organized bar areas
  • Complete all side work and bar set-up tasks
  • Create customized cocktails and recommend beverages with food pairing
  • Keep track of spills and perform inventory checks
  • Uphold high standards of personal hygiene and club cleanliness

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must be able to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and work in a hot, humid, and noisy environment.
