Job Summary
The Architectural Sales Representative - New England will drive demand for Building Envelope Systems solutions among architects, engineers, and consultants. You will work alongside the Technical Sales team to support project close and capture maximum customer value. This role requires a deep building science and construction background with a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Rapidly grow institutional and commercial sales with year-over-year growth.
- Persuade the design/architectural community on BES value propositions.
- Own the spec-to-ship process while interfacing with architects and consultants.
- Manage multi-level relationships throughout the construction process.
- Utilize disciplined market segmentation and time management.
- Strengthen existing relationships and drive new prospecting initiatives.
- Record and track opportunities using CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce.com preferred).
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to track projects from specification to bidding stage.
- Competence in reading and creating construction details.
Education And Experience
A minimum of five years of related industry experience is required along with a Bachelor’s degree (B.S) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working Conditions
This role is home based with local travel expected about 50-70% of the time.
