Registered Nurse Lead - CARIN Alliance
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing professional nursing care across all health states to promote the well-being of healthy retired Sisters and those with acute, chronic, or terminal illnesses. The RN utilizes knowledge of infection control, safety, communication, and age-related differences when delivering or delegating care.
Requirements
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret medical records, physician orders, and care plans
- Effective communication with Sisters, staff, and healthcare professionals
- At least one year of gerontology experience preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of psychotropic and geriatric medications
- Current RN licensure issued by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
