System Analyst - BI & Data

Role Description

We’re looking for a System Analyst - BI & Data to join our BI & Data team. You will work closely with data engineers and product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring data quality and building reliable data products that drive smarter decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and convert them into structured development tickets with clear acceptance criteria.
• Test new features and data products to ensure they meet expectations.
• Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for applications and data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Actively use AI tools to improve productivity.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into development tasks.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and QA processes.
• Solid understanding of relational databases.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with RESTful APIs.
• Excellent documentation skills - structured, clear, and precise.

Nice to have

• Experience with ETL tools such as Synapse, Dagster, or dbt.
• Basic knowledge of Git and CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like pytest and Playwright.
• Interest in leveraging AI to streamline analysis and testing workflows.
