Job Summary

Under the guidance of the Director of Information Technology and in collaboration with the Cybersecurity Lead, you will operate core security controls and support the overall security architecture of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support core security controls including vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering on secure system design and security best practices.
• Participate in security monitoring, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
• Support email security, phishing defense, and user security awareness initiatives.
• Manage data security and privacy controls including encryption and access governance.
• Assist with internal security assessments and third-party risk activities.
• Support identity and access management practices including RBAC, MFA, and PAM.
• Help secure cloud and infrastructure environments (AWS) in line with NIST and CIS standards.
• Monitor emerging threats and coordinate with third-party cybersecurity service providers.

Qualifications

A post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology with at least 5 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity. Relevant certifications such as CEH/Security+, AWS Certified Security - Specialty are required, with CISSP/CISM, CISA, GIAC as nice-to-haves. Hands-on experience in threat risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response is essential.
