Maintenance Worker II
Position Summary:
Under general supervision, performs a wide range of skilled mechanical maintenance and repair work related to the building, equipment, and operating systems as per the Carewest standards.
Representative work includes:
- Demand facility maintenance as required by the customer.
- Preventative maintenance on all facility systems and equipment, which includes but not limited to HVAC, Life safety systems, Nurse Call, Telephones, patient beds and lifts, plumbing and drainage systems.
- Provide assistance to all other maintenance staff, as well as contractors.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma is required.
- Vehicle and valid Alberta Driver's License required.
- Minimum two years related experience in building maintenance in an institutional setting is required.
- Mechanical aptitude is required.
- Demonstrated experience working with customers.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions.
- Basic computer skills are required for daily use of the AHS e-Facilities system.
