About the Role

The Assistant Project Manager at Carelon Global Solutions India will lead and support migration efforts as part of a larger enterprise transformation initiative. The role is key in planning, coordinating, and executing transitions from legacy systems to modern platforms, ensuring projects align with timeline, scope, budget, and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage end-to-end delivery of migration projects including platform decommissioning, application migration, and data conversion.
  • Create and maintain project artifacts such as plans, charters, stakeholder engagement plans, and deployment schedules.
  • Lead workstream planning and status meetings ensuring teams meet milestones and deliverables.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements and success criteria.
  • Identify, escalate risks, manage issues and maintain project RAID logs.
  • Track progress against KPIs including cutover success, data validation, and user adoption.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate migration rehearsals, testing cycles, and go-live events.
  • Drive project closeout activities including post-mortems and lessons learned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or Healthcare Administration. 4-5 years of project management experience, with a proven track record in managing multiple projects. PMP certification is preferred. Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA).
  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
