Position Summary

The Telecom Engineer II plays a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Careforth's telecommunications systems. Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT, this role supports Contact Center and Unified Communications systems using UCaaS and CCaaS technologies including NICE inContact, Verizon Mobile, OneTalk, and Microsoft Teams. The role involves gathering requirements, developing solutions, and managing telecom projects in collaboration with IT, business leaders, and cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

  • Act as the primary link between IT and Business Operations.
  • Support system administration and enhance telecom services.
  • Design and implement call flows integrated with third-party platforms.
  • Develop technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
  • Lead multiple telecom projects ensuring timely vendor delivery.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce and other support teams.
  • Provide exceptional customer support during critical issues.
  • Engage in special projects and additional duties as needed.

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years designing, configuring, and supporting Contact Centers.
  • Deep expertise in NICE inContact infrastructure and Studio application.
  • Strong understanding of VoIP, SIP protocols, and voice network protocols.
  • Proven CTI integration experience and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency with Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and Intune MDM.
  • Desired programming/scripting and networking experience.
