CareerXperts Consulting is seeking an AI Engineer to build AI systems from the ground up in a true 0-to-1 environment. This role focuses on transforming early-stage ideas into production-ready products through rapid experimentation, strong engineering fundamentals, and practical AI implementation. This is a greenfield opportunity where architecture, workflows, and product direction are still being shaped. We require someone comfortable with ambiguity, fast execution, and building without rigid playbooks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered applications and intelligent workflows
• Build and integrate machine learning models into production systems
• Work across backend services, APIs, databases, and AI layers
• Develop scalable systems capable of handling evolving product requirements
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams during early-stage development
• Prototype, test, and iterate quickly based on feedback and real usage
• Optimize system performance, model efficiency, and scalability
• Maintain clean architecture and high engineering standards
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies, tooling, and frameworks

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
• 2–6 years of experience in AI engineering, software engineering, or applied machine learning roles

Preferred Background

• Experience working in startups or greenfield product environments
• Familiarity with LLMs, NLP, AI agents, or workflow automation systems
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Understanding of scalable architectures and production AI systems
