The Role
The Administration Assistant will support the Development Administration team in the Regulatory Services unit. This temporary part-time role (17.5 hours per week, ending 30 June 2026) is ideal for those seeking flexible work in a professional environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Planning Directorate.
- Draft correspondence, manage databases, and prepare documentation.
- Register and manage records using Council’s information systems.
- Respond to internal and external customer enquiries.
- Maintain and update Council registers and applications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experience along with strong organisation, time management, communication proficiency, MS Office skills, and a high attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and in a team is essential.
Compensation & Benefits
The starting salary is $66,379 (Grade C, Step 1) plus 12% super, pro-rata to part-time hours. Enjoy flexible working arrangements, supportive team culture, and opportunities for development within local government.
