Overview

Here at CBCity, the City of Canterbury Bankstown is one of the largest Councils in NSW serving over 380,000 residents with 28 key services including childcare, waste collection, parks maintenance, libraries, community facilities and aquatic centres.

The Role

The Administration Assistant will support the Development Administration team in the Regulatory Services unit. This temporary part-time role (17.5 hours per week, ending 30 June 2026) is ideal for those seeking flexible work in a professional environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Planning Directorate.
  • Draft correspondence, manage databases, and prepare documentation.
  • Register and manage records using Council’s information systems.
  • Respond to internal and external customer enquiries.
  • Maintain and update Council registers and applications.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experience along with strong organisation, time management, communication proficiency, MS Office skills, and a high attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and in a team is essential.

Compensation & Benefits
