Job Summary
In a regular classroom setting, the Medical Office Support Instructor presents subject instructions and encourages a positive learning environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Promote a positive classroom atmosphere to ensure student motivation.
- Maintain discipline to optimize learning.
- Establish strong student/instructor rapport.
- Utilize available curriculum resources effectively.
- Ensure proper classroom preparation and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain student personnel folders and accurate attendance records.
- Assist in completing necessary Job Corps forms and employer networking.
Requirements
- State certified, licensed or accredited by a professional trade organization.
- If not certified, practical experience in the subject/trade area is required.
- Proven ability to transfer topical knowledge into specific learning objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
