Job Summary

In a regular classroom setting, the Medical Office Support Instructor presents subject instructions and encourages a positive learning environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Promote a positive classroom atmosphere to ensure student motivation.
  • Maintain discipline to optimize learning.
  • Establish strong student/instructor rapport.
  • Utilize available curriculum resources effectively.
  • Ensure proper classroom preparation and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain student personnel folders and accurate attendance records.
  • Assist in completing necessary Job Corps forms and employer networking.

Requirements

  • State certified, licensed or accredited by a professional trade organization.
  • If not certified, practical experience in the subject/trade area is required.
  • Proven ability to transfer topical knowledge into specific learning objectives.
