About the Role
Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients, a revolutionary FinTech company, for a Senior FinCrime Product Owner with a focus on Crypto. This is a fully remote role for candidates based in the UK, Poland, Spain, or Portugal. The base salary range is 115-140K USD gross yearly, plus benefits.
Our client aims to revolutionize how money moves between fiat and crypto, unlocking the possibilities of Web3. They are seeking a creative and innovative Senior FinCrime Product Owner to design and implement a robust financial crime and fraud product to protect users, eliminate bad actors, and propel the ecosystem forward. In this role, you will be expected to build out the FinCrime platform by setting the product strategy, owning the roadmap for delivery, and hiring the team to execute it. If you see what's broken in the financial crime industry, have a strong desire to fix it, and can build a better solution from the ground up, this role is for you. Requirements
- Experience building products to prevent and detect financial crime and fraud.
- Experience working in a high-growth start-up or fintech.
- 2+ years of experience working on technical products (e.g., platforms, distributed systems, data science, machine learning, computer vision, embedded systems, robotics).
- Experience developing product(s) from zero to first release and beyond.
What will make you stand out:
- Professional qualification from an internationally recognized body (e.g., ICA, ACAMS).
- Deep knowledge of the UK and EU regulatory environment and key financial crime regimes.
- Experience working with crypto compliance tools (e.g., Chainalysis, Elliptic).
- Strong data analytics capability to extract insights from large datasets and translate them into product strategy and decision-making.
