About the Role

Career Renew is recruiting for a fully remote Senior Data Scientist - Crypto for US and Europe based candidates who can work EST hours. You will help advance our modeling capabilities and deliver powerful data insights in the DeFi and blockchain space.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with crypto engineers and product managers to analyze protocols.
• Lead innovative research to model crypto market actors.
• Present actionable insights internally and externally.
• Explore new algorithms for DeFi security and optimization.
• Build data models and visualizations using public blockchain data.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Contribute to continuous platform improvement and innovation.

Requirements

A minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in Data Science is required. Candidates must have a strong trading background, deep understanding of derivatives and financial markets, and previous experience in FinTech. Proficiency in machine learning techniques, Python, and related data science packages is essential. Passion for DeFi and blockchain technology and an ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic teams is expected.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with web3 using Dune or smart contracts.
• In-depth DeFi knowledge and a broader understanding of the crypto ecosystem.
• Demonstrated success working in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

Compensation & Perks
