How This Role Makes a Difference

The Director, Information Technology leads IT operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role manages a team of 8-10 FTEs and oversees outsourced support resources, while also serving as a technical expert for complex initiatives.

  • Lead IT strategy with 60% program leadership and 40% technical execution.
  • Manage Windows and Mac environments within a Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Oversee identity management using Okta and Microsoft Entra.
  • Drive AI initiatives, operational excellence, budgeting, and vendor negotiations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT with business priorities.

The Expertise Required

Proven IT leadership in enterprise-scale operations is essential. Expertise in Microsoft 365, Windows/Mac endpoints, identity management platforms, cloud technologies (Azure/AWS), and AI rollout is required. Experience in healthcare or closely regulated industries, IT budgeting, vendor management, and outsourced support is also vital.

Certifications, Education, And Experience

Minimum 15+ years in IT and 7-8+ years in management; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). Certifications in AWS or Azure are preferred.

How We Work Together

This is a remote role based in the United States with less than 10% travel requirements. Job duties involve consistent remote work from a home office with occasional travel, and include standard physical demands associated with computer work.
