Position Summary
The VP Cyber Security Enterprise Architect leads the definition and evolution of an enterprise-wide security strategy for CardWorks and Merrick Bank. This role integrates security architecture with business goals, ensuring comprehensive controls across cloud and on-premise environments while maintaining productivity and quality of life.
Essential Functions
- Cyber Security Strategy & Architecture: Own comprehensive security framework including design, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Security Design & Implementation: Integrate security by design with cloud, on-premise, and DevSecOps solutions.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor team members and communicate security trends to senior stakeholders.
Education and Experience
Requires a Master’s degree in computer science or related field plus 10+ years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity architecture and leadership. Must demonstrate deep technical security knowledge, strong communication skills, and relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and TOGAF.
