Overview

The Senior Engineer, Application Development and Maintenance at Cardinal Health is responsible for configuring, coding, and maintaining software systems that drive internal and external business needs. This role is central to our Information Technology team that delivers and operates computing and information services.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional IT projects and teams, particularly in Manufacturing and Procurement. Partner with business leaders, manufacturing plants, and various IT teams to deliver robust IT solutions.

  • Collaborate with IT teams and business partners.
  • Develop, enhance, and sustain software systems.
  • Oversee projects with significant scope and long-term impact.
  • Mentor less experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

8-12 years of relevant experience, with a preferred Bachelor’s degree. Candidates should have 6+ years in Manufacturing ERP, 4-6 years leading IT projects, and strong problem-solving, communication, and SQL skills. Experience in Procure-To-Pay, Supply Chain, and regulated life sciences is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Anticipated salary range: $123,400 - $176,300. Bonus eligible. Cardinal Health offers a variety of benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401k savings plan, and many more health and wellness programs.
