Hospital Pharmacist Remote Order Entry
Our remote service allows you to practice hospital pharmacy outside of a traditional hospital setting. You will utilize your clinical skills, including monitoring, dosing, and reviewing patient medication therapy, while the hospital staff handles dispensing. This unique model offers flexible work schedules, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to focus on patient care.
Cardinal Health Remote Pharmacy Services is seeking a highly energetic and clinically oriented pharmacist to join our remote pharmacy team. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to remotely serve clients' patients and ensure top-notch continuity of care.
Responsibilities
- Remote order entry and CPOE order evaluation and verification.
- Assure acquisition or renewal of all pharmacy staff licenses.
- Perform as staff pharmacist as needed.
- Physician and nursing consultations.
- Clinical medication dosing services.
- Review and monitoring of profiles and lab values for therapeutic outcomes.
- Coordinate access to medications according to facility policy and procedures, and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Active pharmacy license(s) in state of residence and state of original licensure.
- Must hold at least one active license in the following states: IL, IN, WI, NE, SD, ND, IA, MI, MO, or MT.
- 2-4 years of clinical hospital inpatient experience preferred.
- Ability to gain reciprocity to additional states required for practice.
- Computer savvy to learn and perform successful operation of multiple pharmacy information systems.
- Excellent communication skills for successful interactions with other healthcare professionals to facilitate competent clinical care.

Pay Rate
$48.70 per hour - $69.60 per hour
