About the Compliance Audit Manager Role
The Compliance Audit Manager at Cardinal Health is responsible for ensuring adherence to internal ethics and compliance policies related to privacy, HIPAA, FCPA, and more. This role involves developing and implementing strategies, conducting audits on billing and documentation, and providing corrective recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage department operations and supervise audit staff.

Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should have 8-12 years of experience in compliance auditing, with 5+ years in physician or hospital technical coding/auditing. AAPC or AHIMA coding certification is required; auditing certification is preferred. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and healthcare compliance audit methodologies is essential.
Technical and Interpersonal Skills
Applicants must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is also required.
