Sr. Software Engineer, Mobile at Carbon Robotics

About the Role
As a Sr. Software Engineer, Mobile, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement our mobile applications. These applications provide critical information to farmers about crop health and weeding efficacy globally, and enable seamless robot operations. You will be instrumental in ensuring our customers have a great experience with our products, which may involve visiting farms to gather insights and ensure reliability.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Engineering teams and Product Managers to build farmer-facing mobile applications for an exceptional user experience.
- Quickly build and troubleshoot simple, elegant mobile applications using Flutter.
- Deliver critical information to farmers regarding weeding efficacy and crop health worldwide.
- Enable seamless operation of our robots through mobile application functionality.
- Drive decision-making through project planning, task delegation, and leading problem-solving efforts to ensure rapid iteration.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer building user-centric mobile applications.
- Deep experience with cross-platform development using tools like Flutter or React Native.
- Strong knowledge of interacting with backend services, APIs, and publishing to the App Store.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A desire to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- BS+ in Computer Science or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $190,000—$225,000 USD. Our benefits package for full-time US-based employees includes:
