Team Description

The GenAI Powered Digital Assistant Team in AI Foundations is dedicated to building futuristic, scalable conversational AI solutions. They emphasize advanced LLM powered digital assistant applications, multi-agentic workflows, and domain-specific model tuning.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, ML engineers, and product managers.
  • Lead research and development in Generative AI and conversational capabilities.
  • Fine-tune advanced Large Language Models for domain-specific applications.
  • Leverage technologies including Python, AWS, Pyspark, LangChain, LangGraph, HuggingFace Transformers, vLLM, and VectorDBs.
  • Translate AI/ML research into tangible business outcomes.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is innovative, creative, a leader, technically proficient, and influential in driving AI adoption. They should be experienced in AI/ML development, NLP, and LLM tuning.

Basic Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or equivalent in a quantitative field with relevant analytics experience.
  • Experience with open source programming for large scale data analysis.
  • Proven track record in machine learning and data analytics using relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD preferred with publication/research experience.
  • Specialized experience in GenAI and LLM training, evaluation, and optimization.
  • Experience with AWS GPU clusters and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch/TensorFlow.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary is location-based: For example, in McLean, VA, the salary range is $225,400 to $257,200. Additional performance-based incentives apply. Capital One offers a competitive benefits package.
