Overview

Capital One’s Audit function focuses on delivering top-quality assurance services to the Audit Committee. As a Senior Auditor - Risk Management, you will join a dedicated team that provides independent insights, leverages technology, and fosters professional growth in a collaborative environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Audit major components of business units.
• Develop engagement planning documentation with risk-based rationale.
• Design and execute internal control testing for complex operations.
• Prepare clear and complete documentation of audit work.
• Maintain strong client and team relations.
• Communicate audit progress effectively to stakeholders.
• Manage engagement administration including hours and budget tracking.
• Self prioritize tasks and support team needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or military experience, and at least 2 years of auditing experience in banking, financial services, or risk management.

Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degrees in Auditing, Accounting, Finance or related fields and certifications such as CIA, CPA, CFA, CRM, FRM, or CRC. Experience with data analysis and exposure to Enterprise or Operational Risk Management is preferred.

Work Arrangement & Compensation

This is a hybrid role with in-person work 2-3 days per week and virtual work on Mondays and Fridays. Salary ranges vary by location, with performance-based incentives available.
