Overview
Capital One is seeking an exceptionally bright, multitasking, and self-motivated Senior Administrative Assistant to support 4 to 6 executives in a fast-paced, tech-savvy environment. The role involves handling administrative tasks that free up executive time to focus on department and company goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily calendars and adjust schedules based on last-minute changes.
- Arrange conference rooms, catering, audio/video services and other meeting essentials.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and create expense reports using Capital One systems.
- Drive team activities, all-hands meetings, and social events.
- Prepare professional business communications including memos, letters, and emails.
- Build and maintain relationships with executives and administrative teams.
- Participate in general administrative duties including copying, mail distribution, and ad-hoc projects.
- Promote a fun and team-oriented work environment.
Basic and Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of administrative experience, a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite, and proven multitasking skills. Preferred candidates will have additional experience supporting multiple executives, event planning, and video conference setup, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary ranges vary by location. For example, in McLean, VA the range is $79,300 to $90,500 annually. Capital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive benefits package.
