Overview
Capital One is seeking a Product Designer to join the Card Platforms & Data team. This role partners with business teams specializing in Card Data, Models, Decisioning, and Credit, and focuses on designing innovative and user-centered solutions in a highly technical and data driven environment.
Role Expectations
As a Product Designer, you will combine your design craft with an understanding of customer needs and business requirements to co-create solutions that address complex problems. You will:
- Leverage expertise in interaction, visual, and service design.
- Create journey maps, blueprints, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes.
- Champion human-centered design by integrating research, data, and feedback.
- Understand business strategy and technical constraints to negotiate solutions.
- Build relationships and collaborate with cross functional partners.
- Present design work clearly to diverse audiences.
Qualifications
Basic: Minimum 3 years in Product Design with solid skills using Figma and prototyping tools.
Preferred: 4+ years of experience in a similar role, collaboration with product, tech, and business partners, and work with established design systems in regulated, data-rich environments.
