Job Overview

Capital One is seeking a detail-oriented, organized professional to join its Legal department in the Subpoena Fulfillment and Intake team. The Process Coordinator - Subpoena Fulfillment handles reviewing legal requests, conducting customer account research, document collection and coordination with internal business groups.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare responses to subpoenas and legal requests.
  • Coordinate with business lines to research account systems and compile requested information.
  • Evaluate account information for completeness, quality, and accuracy.
  • Communicate with external requesters to resolve ambiguous requests.
  • Notate relevant information in the system of record.
  • Manage workload to meet time-bound deadlines and benchmarks.
  • Support team administrative functions, reporting, and special projects.

Basic and Preferred Qualifications

Basic qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least one year of experience with Google Workspace and Excel. A bachelor's degree, excellent communication skills, good organizational abilities, and previous experience in a legal or financial services setting are preferred.

Work Environment

This role follows the Capital One hybrid policy with expectations to work onsite at the Riverwoods location (or other designated office) three days a week. Fridays are virtual work days.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role in Riverwoods, IL, ranges from $56,800 to $64,800, with corresponding ranges for other locations. Capital One also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
