General Responsibilities

  • Lead moderate to large complex projects and programs.
  • Design, develop, and manage dynamic project plans.
  • Ensure proper documentation and mitigate project risks.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide strategic thought.
  • Build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Coach and develop a team of associates.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent military experience.
  • At least 6 years of Project Management experience.
  • At least 2 years of Jira experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters/MBA degree.
  • 7+ years of Project Management experience.
  • 2+ years of People Management experience.
  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, problem solving and influencing skills.

Compensation & Additional Information

Salary ranges vary by location. For example, in McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700. Incentives include performance based bonuses and long term incentives. Capital One offers comprehensive health, financial, and other benefits.
