Role Summary
The Audit Manager FCC AML at Capital One focuses on audits of Financial Crime Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering initiatives. The role supports the integration efforts with Discover Financial Services while executing audit projects, guiding audit teams, and leveraging data analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and perform BSA/AML compliance audits on an enterprise level.
- Conduct AML risk assessments and design compliance audit procedures.
- Develop the annual audit plan using data analytics tools.
- Establish working relationships with internal and external management.
- Communicate audit findings through written reports and presentations.
- Manage audit resources and provide constructive feedback to the team.
What We’re Looking For
An energetic, self-motivated professional with a passion for coaching, a strong background in auditing, compliance, and risk management, and a comfort level with data analytics. The candidate should be adaptable, curious, and capable of building strong business relationships.
Travel & Work Arrangement
This role involves 10-15% travel. It is a hybrid position with 3 in-person days per week and 1 virtual day.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience in auditing, compliance, or risk management.
- At least 3 years in financial crimes compliance and leading audits.
- Preferred advanced degree and professional certifications such as CAMS, CIA, CPA, CRCM, or CFE.
- Experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary varies by location across several major U.S. offices such as Charlotte, Chicago, McLean, New York, Plano, Richmond, and Riverwoods.
