About The Role
The Associate Software Engineer New Grad will join creative Agile teams and work on business critical projects. The role involves designing, coding, testing and delivering digital solutions that improve user experience and streamline operations.
Technical Environment
Technologies include multiple IDEs (Android Studio, XCode, Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ), programming languages (Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, Typescript, GoLang, NodeJS), AWS cloud services (S3, EC2, Lambda, Route53), monitoring tools (Splunk, New Relic, Cloudwatch), and testing frameworks (Mockito, JUnitRunner, Espresso, XCTest).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers and analysts to implement new applications.
- Develop code meeting story acceptance criteria.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Document program development and revisions.
- Provide third-level support as needed.
Continuous Learning & Development
New grads will join the Tech Development Program (TDP) with hands-on learning, development opportunities and access to Capital One's Tech College.
