About the Role
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional to mentor the next generation of Royal Navy engineers by delivering Electrical Engineering training. You will deliver both theory and practical training, ensuring high quality training results and maintaining strong relationships with the customer.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver training modules within Electrical Marine Engineering for the Royal Navy
- Conduct both theory and practical training sessions
- Maintain outstanding relationships within the training team
- Update training documentation and assess student performance
- Apply best practices to drive quality improvements
- Ensure duty of care during the training delivery phase
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Proven experience in Electrical/Engineering
- Proficient in IT use in the workplace
- Competent electrical practical/hand skills
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous instructional experience in a military or civilian environment
- Level 4 Teaching Qualification / DTC Defence Trainer Course or equivalent

Additional Information
- Location: Gosport - HMS Sultan, United Kingdom
- Term time basis: 45 weeks per year with specific non-working weeks
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance at SC level is required
