The Opportunity: Senior Automation Engineer / Automation Lead
The Senior Automation Engineer / Automation Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions for enterprise applications. This role requires strong hands-on automation experience, framework development skills, and the ability to provide technical leadership to offshore teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium and Java.
- Execute hands-on automation scripting and test execution.
- Support API automation using RestAssured or similar tools.
- Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD integration and reporting.
- Review automation code and mentor offshore team members.
- Establish automation standards and best practices.
- Partner with development and QA teams to improve software quality.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 8+ years of experience in test automation or quality engineering.
- Strong Selenium and Java experience.
- Experience designing or contributing to automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes.
- Experience working with distributed teams.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and DevOps.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with WebDriverIO, Playwright, or Mabl.
- API automation experience.
- Financial Services or Insurance background.
Compensation and Benefits
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $110,000 - $125,000/ yearly. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, and market conditions.
