Your Role as an Industrial Data & AI Managing Consultant
You will be an integral part of the Industrial Data & AI squad within the Digital Engineering team at Capgemini Invent. As a Managing Consultant, you will be instrumental in setting strategic direction and contributing to business growth through data-driven insights. Your responsibilities will include designing state-of-the-art architectures that leverage data and AI to enhance client operations, fostering sustained improvements in profitability, efficiency, quality, and behavioural change. You will collaborate with diverse teams across Capgemini, including Engineering, Frog, and Cambridge Consultants, to develop comprehensive propositions for client business enhancement.

- Business Development: Leading or contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contributions, and client hosting at events.
- Internal Contribution: Engaging in campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), and offering development.
- Learning & Development: Participating in training to support career progression and meet company skill demands, including various certifications.
Your Profile: Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate for the Industrial Data & AI Managing Consultant position will possess a strong combination of the following:
- Proficiency in Python programming language and SQL.
- Experience with Data & AI cloud microservices on AWS and Azure.
- Familiarity with Data & AI platforms such as Cognite Data Fusion, C3 AI, Hexagon, or Palantir is advantageous.
- At least one cloud architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF, AWS, Azure, Databricks, or similar).
- Proven track record in Data Science and Analytics, successfully delivering work across the ML lifecycle.
- Experience with Large Language Models architectures and techniques, including AI-agents, GraphRAGs, fine-tuning, and semantic grounding.
- A genuine desire to solve real-world data issues and client challenges.
- Domain-specific knowledge in asset management from sectors like Automotive, Aerospace and Defence, Utilities, Energy, Construction, FMCG, or Life Sciences is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills, adept at helping clients derive value and insights from their data.
