Overview
Capgemini is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team in London, UK. Work in a hybrid environment (2-3 days in office) and collaborate with global experts to unlock the value of technology in the financial services sector.
Your Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will implement and manage tools, processes, and infrastructure to enable rapid deployment and efficient operations of financial services applications.
Your Profile
You should have:
- 5 years of experience with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- 3 years of experience setting up cloud infrastructure with Cloud Formation
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, Git, and Jira
- Experience with AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, ELB, EC2, MSK, RDS, Oracle)
- Experience with virtual server hosting, container management, and Linux OS
- Network experience with cloud network patterns including VPC, subnets, and firewalls
- Basic knowledge of Java-based applications, APIs, and Microservices
Preferred Qualifications
Additional skills include:
- 5 years of scripting with PowerShell, Perl, Ruby, Node.js, or Python
- Proficiency with Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab, and Git Workflows
- Experience in controlled environments like banking and financial services
- Expertise with Docker and orchestration tools like Amazon ECS, EKS, and Kubernetes
- Relevant AWS certification
