Missions of a Data Product Owner Business Data Analyst

As a Data Product Owner within a multidisciplinary team, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Contribute to data organization and governance by ensuring its quality, security, and compliance with regulations (Export Control, National Security, Customs & Legal regulation…).
  • Define and lead the Data strategy in line with business needs and objectives.
  • Design and maintain advanced UML data models and ensure their integration into existing ecosystems.
  • Analyze and exploit business data (SQL, Python) to identify optimization opportunities and guide decision-making.
  • Make data understandable and visualize it (proficiency in Looker Studio, Spotfire, Power BI, or other solutions).
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to prioritize Data initiatives and maximize added value.

Your Ideal Profile

  • Graduate of an engineering school or a Master's in computer science, data, or project management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Data Owner, or Data Steward.
  • Good command of SQL or Python for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Confirmed competence in UML modeling (object modeling, data model design).
  • Good knowledge of data governance challenges and quality frameworks.
  • Ability to work in complex and multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Operational English level (minimum B2) in writing and speaking.
  • Strong analytical capacity, synthesis skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
