Your Role as an Automation Engineer Python Selenium Robot Framework

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer proficient in Selenium WebDriver, Robot Framework, and Python to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for high-quality software delivery. This role requires strong scripting skills, framework design knowledge, and hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Selenium WebDriver automation with Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with Robot Framework (keywords, libraries, resource files).
• Expertise in writing robust XPath/CSS selectors and custom locators.
• Knowledge of PyTest or unittest test execution frameworks.
• Experience in API automation using Robot Framework (RequestsLibrary) or Python.
• Strong understanding of automation framework design (POM, keyword-driven, hybrid).
• Hands-on experience with Git (branching, merging, PRs).
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub).
• Ability to debug automation failures, logs, error traces, and screenshots.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with Selenium Grid, BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs for cloud execution.
• Knowledge of Docker for containerizing tests.
• Experience with BDD frameworks (Behave/Cucumber).
• Basic understanding of database/SQL for validation.
• Familiarity with API tools like Postman.
• Exposure to test management tools (Jira, Azure Boards, TestRail, qTest).
• Knowledge of performance testing basics (JMeter).
• Familiarity with Linux commands for automation environments.
• Understanding of microservices and REST APIs.
