AI/LLM Engineer at Capgemini

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Quality Engineering team and lead the development of LLM- and agentic-based testing solutions. This role blends traditional automation expertise with cutting-edge AI technologies to build intelligent, scalable, and autonomous testing frameworks that redefine how we validate software quality.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end testing frameworks leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic workflows.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and data layers across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate Natural Language Processing (NLP) models into testing pipelines.
  • Build and manage test data pipelines for diverse applications and environments.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and deployment.
  • Identify and resolve environmental and data dependencies for comprehensive E2E testing.
  • Lead defect triage, backlog grooming, and root cause analysis sessions.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Around 1 year of experience working in or supporting AI-based testing environments, or strong interest with hands-on exposure through projects or coursework.
  • Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language such as Python (preferred), Java, or JavaScript.
  • Basic to intermediate experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with API testing concepts and tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent.
  • Foundational understanding of LLMs and NLP concepts, including prompt engineering and basic model integration; exposure to agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, Semantic Kernel) is a plus.
  • Basic experience with test data handling, including working with SQL/NoSQL databases, synthetic test data, or data masking under guidance.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments, CI/CD practices, and cloud or container platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker/Kubernetes), along with good communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The base compensation range for this role is $46,400 - $111,090. Capgemini offers a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plans, and life and disability insurance.
