Original Job Summary

About the Role

CapeTalent is seeking an AI-forward eLearning Developer with deep expertise in Articulate Storyline 360. The role involves collaborating with a team of instructional designers, learning technologists, and analysts to support a global financial client’s Academy learning platform. This is a 4-month remote contract (US only) with a preference for PST overlap.

Contract Details

  • Duration: 4 months at 40 hrs/week
  • Compensation: $35-$40 per hour (flexible)
  • Engagement Type: 1099 or C2C (NO W2)
  • Working Hours: 9-5pm (PST preferred)
  • Portfolio required

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Instructional Designers to bring scripts, storyboards, and learning objectives to life.
  • Integrate interactive elements such as branching scenarios, quizzes, hotspots, and animations.
  • Update public-facing learning content in Storyline and Synthesia.
  • Review courses for errors and consistency using instructional design checklists with AI tools.
  • Take ownership of learner issues ensuring timely resolutions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Storyline 360
  • Basic JavaScript integration within Storyline for dynamic interactions
  • Proficient with JIRA project management and GDrive version control
  • Experience integrating AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT) into workflows
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
