Role Purpose
This Business Analyst role in Wholesale Credit & Lending (WCL) supports 80% of wholesale banking revenues and key transformation initiatives. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to produce business requirements, functional specifications, and business cases while validating and prioritizing project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead analysis of business processes and systems across Business, IT, and Operations.
- Design and reengineer processes considering risk, cost, and end-to-end workflow.
- Support change impact assessments, estimate design changes, and control scope.
- Manage solution implementations and develop KPIs for monitoring project milestones.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers.
Customers / Stakeholders
Work closely with WCL functional teams, group functional teams (Risk, Finance, IT), operational support teams, and regulatory and vendor partners.
Leadership & Teamwork
Act as a role model in business analysis and design best practices. Encourage agile practices, cross-country collaboration, and provide constructive feedback. May lead junior analysts on projects.
Major Challenges
Adaptability in a fast-paced environment, managing complex requirements and rigorous project controls amidst technical and regulatory challenges.
Knowledge & Experience
- Proven Business Analyst skills with strong analytical background.
- Experience in business and process analysis, change initiatives and agile methodologies.
- Adept at cross-functional teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
- Industry recognized certifications (e.g., Change Management, Six Sigma) are preferred.
