Canyon EV Systems is a growing consulting firm specializing in Electrical Planning Reports (EPRs) and EV Ready Plans for multi-unit residential buildings across British Columbia. We work with strata corporations, property managers, and contractors to help buildings comply with provincial requirements and prepare for the rapid adoption of electric vehicles.Role Description
We are looking for an Electrical Technologist or Engineer to support the delivery of Electrical Planning Reports and EV Ready Plans. This role will involve a combination of site assessments, electrical analysis, and report preparation, working closely with a Professional Engineer. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing sector at the intersection of electrification, sustainability, and building infrastructure.Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology (or equivalent).
- 2+ years of relevant experience (building electrical systems preferred).
- Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals (load calculations, panels, distribution).
- Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
- Experience with EV charging systems is an asset (not required).
