What You'd Be Doing In This Role

As Canva scales, change is part of our DNA. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional backend and infrastructure team to build features that deliver a localised experience.

  • Lead and grow a team of 6+ engineers.
  • Drive technical delivery and design the product roadmap for internationalisation.
  • Refine team processes for sustainable delivery.
  • Champion automation and integrate AI into solutions.
  • Collaborate across product and engineering teams to build scalable localisation services.

About The Internationalisation Team

The team owns critical infrastructure and services for localisation and translation of Canva’s language assets — both human and AI-driven. Collaborate with teams across search, templates, and marketplace.
