About the Role

Canonical is seeking an energetic and creative Senior Communications Manager to lead analyst relations (AR) efforts. In this role, you will drive the communications strategy across the AR channel to increase Canonical’s visibility among industry influencers and shape market perception.

What Your Day Will Look Like

You will:

• Prepare and execute analyst-focused communications plans for product announcements and partnerships.
• Leverage new technologies like AI to analyze market trends and sentiment.
• Craft and deliver compelling narratives that align with Canonical’s vision.
• Manage analyst relationships with ongoing briefings and industry events.
• Measure program impact, report progress, and manage spend with necessary tooling.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Alliances, Sales, and Marketing teams.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in market research, communications or AR programs, a proven track record of successful campaigns in tech communications, and exceptional interpersonal skills. Experience in cloud, SaaS, or open source technology is a plus, as is a background in product management or marketing.
