As a Junior Project Manager at Canonical, you will be instrumental in streamlining and accelerating the adoption of open source across the global enterprise technology market. Our customers trust Canonical for complex projects spanning bare metal, cloud, and edge environments.
Our Project Managers are crucial for project success, driving initiatives, ensuring clear communication, and engaging stakeholders respectfully, all while upholding integrity and accountability. Given a portfolio of projects involving complex and evolving software technologies, exceptional Project Managers who effectively engage all stakeholders are vital for customer and partner satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring programs and projects are delivered within the defined schedule, scope, cost, budget, and resource expectations.
- Supporting in identifying key technical and project risks and issues, and actively implementing mitigating actions.
- Maintaining a strong customer focus and collaborating with all key stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Assisting in conducting regular status meetings and business reviews with customers.
- Supporting the delivery schedule of critical third-party deliverables for the project.
- Advocating Canonical's appropriate technologies from its portfolio to customers.

The ideal Junior Project Manager candidate will demonstrate solid academic achievement in science, software engineering, and/or information technology, alongside excellent written and verbal English communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
