About the Role

Canonical, the publisher of Ubuntu, is a global leader in open source software and operating systems, serving enterprise and technology markets. The Global Head of Cloud Alliances will lead business development and partnerships with major global public cloud providers, driving revenue growth and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own Canonical's global cloud partner strategy.
• Lead forecasting, bookings, and revenue growth across cloud partners.
• Build strong, cross-functional relationships with engineering, product, and marketing teams.
• Inspire and guide teams to achieve accelerated revenue with cloud partners.
• Establish and nurture executive-level relationships with key partners.
• Drive go-to-market strategies and joint engagements with public cloud sales communities.

Qualifications

• Exceptional academic record and technical undergraduate degree.
• Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage multi-cultural teams.
• In-depth understanding of open source technologies, Ubuntu, and the competitive ecosystem.
• Flexibility to travel internationally twice a year.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in alliance and indirect sales management.
• Solid experience in the Public Cloud sector.
• Proficiency with Linux (Debian/Ubuntu preferred).
