Introduction

Canoe Intelligence is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Canoe Data Team. This role is critical in ensuring our internal datasets are clean, organized, and analytics-ready.

The Role

As a Data Analyst, you will turn raw data into structured outputs that generate insights to improve how Canoe collects, tracks, and delivers client documents. You will monitor Canoe Connect performance and support operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, organize, and maintain internal Canoe datasets.
• Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and gaps.
• Create visualizations and dashboards to track KPIs.
• Use SQL and Python for data querying and cleaning.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with big data environments.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and SQL.
• Familiarity with Python and BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Experience in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of alternative investments and financial services data.
• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
