Job Summary
The Legal and Compliance Operations Manager will strengthen our legal and regulatory compliance framework amidst rapid growth in the financial services sector. You will manage the full compliance lifecycle from contract review to regulatory reporting, ensuring adherence to regulations while utilizing AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Review & Legal Operations: Analyze vendor agreements, draft and review commercial contracts, maintain contract management systems, support legal counsel, and leverage AI tools for compliance monitoring.
- Compliance Program Execution: Execute BSA/AML procedures, manage vendor risk assessments, update compliance policies, monitor regulatory changes, and prepare regulatory filings.
- Customer and Stakeholder Support: Serve as a compliance subject matter expert, respond to customer inquiries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Vendor Risk Management: Lead vendor due diligence, coordinate assessments, maintain risk registries, and escalate high-risk findings.
Requirements
Candidates should have 5-8 years of operations experience, a strong background in executing compliance programs in financial services with expertise in BSA/AML procedures and vendor risk assessments. A bachelor's degree in business, law, or related field is required. Proficiency in contract management systems and legal research tools is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in fintech or regulated environments, familiarity with global data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), certifications such as CIPP/US, and previous experience supporting regulatory examinations are a plus.
